Hi There,
Just a quick post to tell you how much I love and miss the late
1960's and 1970's. I have worked over the last 2 years to try and
collect as much stuff from those eras as I can. There is a lot
depending on what your interests are.
I loved the Beatles and bought their remastered vinyl set of all
their recordings. Elvis the King's also. These are priceless to me!
Loved the muscle cars of that era. I owned a 1967 Ford Mustang
289 High Performance car. that was my FIRST love. Kept
it washed and waxed and clean every week. Sucked in the
snow of Northern Michigan but the girls loved it!
All the great candy too. I had quite a collection of baseball collecting
cards also which my Mom mistakenly through out spring cleaning. I
loved my Mom but DAMN! Not my cards. Lost a fortune there. Now I try
and collect as many as I can. I put up some great deals on cards
on here. I guess it is like the Troy Aikman Miller Light commercial
that is running right now, "I dwell in the past". The way the world and
country is now, it is a good place to dwell.
I will continue to post things that you might like as I see
them. I buy a lot of what I post here so I know they will be good.
Went back to my home town for Christmas. hadn't been there in
a few years, and a lot of things have changed. it is still home.
I will retire back there in Northern Michigan in a few years. It
reminds me of so many good times and a few sad times, but I love
it up there. Anyplace else I am is just a place to live. back there
is HOME!
